Indian Ayurveda and Premature Ejaculation

When it comes to treatment or chronic management options for premature ejaculation, a lot of men want help finding something that is all natural and that can be done

safely, at home, without resorting to seeing a doctor. While this isn’t always possible, starting with simple measures can help the vast majority of men and also give doctors a better idea of how to approach the issue, as their patients will have already made some effort in identifying the underlying problem.

What Is Indian Ayurveda?

Indian Ayurveda is a type of complementary medicine, which means it sticks to holistic approaches. While the word ‘holistic’ can sometimes get a bad rap for essentially meaning ‘it’s all in your head’ the truth is that some forms of natural medicine have been proven to work in a host of clinical studies. The key, of course, lies in people using their common sense and understanding the science behind the treatments in order to determine how effective they are likely to be.

For fans of Ayurveda, there are two main nutritionally based recipes used to treat premature ejaculation. Each one incorporates foods known to have an effect on male sexual health and which can be made with common ingredients. They’re also considered to be Whole Food recipes, meaning they’re generally healthy and are a part of any well balanced diet, promoting good health throughout a person’s body.

Asparagus Powder and Milk

2 tsp Indian asparagus powder
1 Cup Milk (dairy or alternative)

Combine and boil for 10 minutes on low. Drink twice a day.

Milk, Cardamom & Saffron

10 Almonds
1 Cup Milk (dairy or alternative)
Pinch of powdered ginger
Pinch of powdered cardamom
Pinch of Saffron

Soak the almonds overnight then peel off the skins. Crush the almonds and add to the milk while bringing to a low boil. Add spices, mix well and drink in the morning.

In these recipes, the science is simply in the foods chosen. Nuts, asparagus, saffron and cardamom have all been linked to boosting male health. Incorporating them into your diet in almost any form will help to improve premature ejaculation if nutrition is a contributing factor.

Is DIY Always Best?

At home remedies for premature ejaculation aren’t always an option. The root causes for this problem are as varied and unique as the men who struggle with the condition. Still, it’s good to start with the basics, and that includes natural methods that enhance whole body health. Approaches such as Indian Ayurveda are typically seen as options that can only benefit a person who tries them. Side effects are essentially non-existent as long as men are careful and don’t try ingredients they know they’re allergic to or which could interfere with their health. Improving nutrition in general is often one of the first recommendations doctors make.

Other types of these approaches include similar exercises such as those found in yoga and Tai-Chi as well as natural approaches to anger management. These are among the front line options for men who find themselves dealing with almost any form of sexual dysfunction. By addressing the basic issues simply, naturally and in a way men can control themselves, the conditions are often cleared up quickly and effectively.

It can, of course, sometimes be a challenge to incorporate new approaches and habits into our lives – even when they benefit us. So natural approaches are often enhanced by including different supplements or therapies to support their work. In addition to increasing the chances of success, this diverse approach also makes it more likely for men to stick with their changes. Over time, that means a lifestyle that results in better physical health and stamina between the sheets or out in the world.
