Could Your Summer of Fun Result in Premature Ejaculation?

Summer Fun

Summer is coming to an end and weeks of concerts, cook-outs, parties, weekends in the yard and having fun outside as well. While summer is traditionally a time for both relaxing and enjoying a bit of excess, all the fun could be leading to anything but fun in the bedroom.

For most people, the long months of summer are punctuated with parties, celebrations, vacations and all sorts of get-togethers and mini trips. The little adventures do more than just create awesome memories – they also throw your whole schedule out of whack. Even people who are usually great about maintaining healthy habits find themselves going a little nuts over the summer.

This is because when we’re on vacation, we want to step away from all our daily routines and responsibilities. Quite often that means not keeping up with or maintaining the healthy habits many men use as preventative measures against various forms of sexual performance problems, including early ejaculation.

The best example of this can be found in your average summer cook-out. Most cook-outs feature plenty of red meat, fried foods, rich desserts and beer or other forms of alcohol. Each of these things – from that lovely marbled steak with a side of fries and buttered corn to the cool beer you have over a slice of cheesecake – can have a negative impact on both your overall health and, more specifically, your sexual performance.

Add to this mix the general stress of summer. Sure vacations and small trips are a great way to get away or spend a long weekend with the family, but they also create stress at home. Chores that need to be moved, preparation for trips and the clean up afterwards all leave their mark in terms of increasing stress levels. Even travelling in and of itself can be quite stressful for many families.

So it’s no wonder that many men find themselves dealing with episodes of early ejaculation even when they’re having a great summer. So what can a guy to avoid these problems without giving up his summer of fun?

  1. Plan Ahead

The best way to avoid stress is to simply plan ahead. Whether it’s developing an itinerary for a trip or investigating plenty of Plan B options if your camping trip is threatened by rain. If you’re prone to worrying about what could go wrong, simply go through the process of having a plan and your stress levels will be reduced.

  1. Keep Up health Eating Habits

There’s no need to pass up all the goodies at a decadent cookout but ensuring you don’t go overboard too often will prevent your diet from contributing to an episode of early ejaculation. Stick to lean meats and fresh vegetables whenever possible. Sweet corn on the cob doesn’t always need butter, so try it without before reaching for anything to add. The same goes for dessert – a heavy cake will make you feel tired but some fresh watermelon will cool you off and improve erectile health!

  1. Mix Up the Drinks

A cold adult beverage on a hot summer night is truly a luxury worth enjoying. Mix up your choices by including things like red wine which can actually improve cardiovascular health. Improved heart health means improved circulation, one of the foundations to better sexual health.

  1. Get Outside!

This seems pretty obvious at first but too often people actually avoid the summer sun. Sunscreen and shade will cover your bases in terms of skin health and getting out in the sun has a host of benefits, including boosting vitamin D production and even helping to mitigate the effects of depression.

  1. Get Your Sweat On

Make the most of that summer heat by getting out to play sports, take a long walk, swim a few laps or engage in any other outdoor activity. Getting active will improve your overall health and exercise is a great way to prevent future episodes of early ejaculation.
